That’s right, the Chocolate Turkey is on Thanksgiving Day and all participants will get a chocolate turkey, limited edition race shirt, and best of all – some chocolate goodies after the race! We are partnering again with the Heller Center for Kids with Cancer at OSF HealthCare Children’s Hospital of Illinois.
Over 1200 Runners and 135,000 watts of power make Detweiller at Dark THE most unique XC events in the country! New this year: a slight course change. Due to overuse of the course through the fall, in order to preserve the course for the season, we will make a few alterations to the start/finish areas.
The Blarney Blitz 5K is Central Illinois’ St. Patrick’s Day themed race. We kick everything off with a 5K run/walk at 8:00 AM, and then finish up at Kelleher’s Irish Pub on Water St. for a St. Paddy’s Party that won’t disappoint!
